How does the online calculator work?

You upload your .stp or .step file, select material, quantity and lead time, and see the price directly.
The calculator analyzes the part, recognizes typical 2D CNC features and automatically calculates the manufacturing effort.
No login is required for the calculation. Files are processed only temporarily and automatically deleted if no quote is requested.

Which CAD files can be processed?

We currently process .stp and .step files.
Please export your part as a solid model from your CAD system.
Surface models, mesh files and pure drawing files are not suitable for the online calculator.

Which materials are available?

We manufacture from Aluminium 5083 and Aluminium 7075.
5083 is our standard choice for many machine construction plates, brackets, adapters and fixtures.
7075 is suitable for high-strength parts with higher mechanical load.

How long does production take?

Standard production usually takes 9–14 working days.
For urgent parts, express production from 1–3 working days is possible depending on availability.
You can see the selectable delivery options directly in the online calculator.

What is included in the online price?

The online price includes material, CNC-milled contours, bores and pockets, as well as deburring of the parts.
Threads and fits can also be manufactured directly with suitable geometry.
Double-sided machining and side bores are possible, but are currently checked manually.

What do CNC milled parts cost?

The costs mainly depend on material, part size, milling time, number of features and quantity.
Simple 2D CNC milled parts are especially suitable for the online calculator because programming and setup effort are reduced automatically.
You see the exact price for your part directly after uploading your STEP file.

Why 2D CNC instead of laser or waterjet cutting?

Laser and waterjet cutting are strong for simple outer contours.
If your part also needs pockets, countersinks, threads, fits or deburred edges, 2D CNC is often the more direct route.
This saves additional rework on many technical plate parts.

Can double-sided machining or side bores be ordered?

Yes, double-sided machining and side bores are possible.
These features are currently not calculated fully automatically in the online calculator, but are checked manually.
